Joti Mangat, Revenue & Leadership at Rising Sun Solar, reported on LinkedIn that his company recently completed a Tesla Solar Roof installation project. He said that the 50kW solar roof covers an area of 10,000 sqft, has 81kWh of energy storage and has become part of the Virtual Power Plant (VPP). Swell Energy Home Battery Rewards VPP, in partnership with Hawaiian Electric, is estimated to generate about $350 per month in grid revenue for this customer every month for the next five years.
