The Boring Company Vegas Loop has updated its target for the number of passengers it intends to serve. After the planned expansion, the Loop will be able to transport 90,000 passengers an hour.
The Boring Company continues its development in Las Vegas, with a new expansion plan. A proposed new map recently filed with the city of Las Vegas depicts dozens of tunnels traversing the city to reach more casinos, shopping areas, the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus, and even residential areas. Documents show that the proposed new transportation system consists of 69 stations and 65 miles of tunnels.
In early May, The Boring Company received approval for the expansion. Now Vegas Loop will provide even faster and more convenient transportation to the Las Vegas community, its visitors, and beyond. The extension includes LVCC Loop and any future service extensions including those to casinos along the Strip, Harry Reid International Airport, Allegiant Stadium, and downtown Las Vegas. The company said that eventually, the Vegas Loop will expand to Los Angeles.
After receiving approval for the expansion, The Boring Company updated the information on its website. The Vegas Loop will carry more than 90,000 passengers per hour, according to new figures. For now, the peak has been about 32,000 passengers per day. The increase to 90,000 is huge.
