Elon Musk is expected to attend a global artificial intelligence summit in the UK this week, according to a government official. Its emergence will come as part of the country’s efforts to understand the risks posed by artificial intelligence.

The UK will bring together artificial intelligence companies, political leaders and experts on November 1-2. They will discuss the risks posed by artificial intelligence, with the goal of reaching international consensus on its safe development, according to Reuters. A total of about 100 participants will discuss topics such as the unpredictable advances of AI and the possibility of humans losing control of it.

To date, the full list of participants has not been made public. However, it is known that US Vice President Kamala Harris and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will join.

At the moment it is not entirely clear what he meant. Perhaps he and Musk will join Space at X to discuss the topics raised during the summit.
