Tesla’s Drive-in Movie Theater Diner Shows Huge Progress

Tesla has made even more progress at its unique Supercharger facility in Hollywood. The drive-in movie theater is already taking shape as the frame of the main building is almost complete.

Elon Musk’s dream of a futuristic diner and drive-in movie theater in Hollywood is closer to fruition. At the beginning of autumn, activity was noticed in the area. At that time, work was already underway on part of the construction site to prepare for pouring the foundation. Meanwhile, it was clear that in some parts of the site, areas were already filled with cement, reminiscent of supports. By early November, several vertical concrete structures had already been built on the site, some of which formed what looked like the entrance to a diner building. Work on underground communications also began.

Now, SFGate has seen even more progress. The photograph published by the publication clearly shows the frame of the building, which seems to be ready. Obviously, the walls still need to be constructed, but even the frame itself gives a clear idea of what the building will be like.

This project has been in development for several years. It is located at 7001 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. The restaurant will have two floors and seat 218 people. The second floor will feature outdoor seating overlooking two large 45-foot-tall LED movie screens. According to the documentation, short videos will be broadcast on the screens from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The diner itself will be open 24 hours a day. The location will feature 32 Supercharger stalls, which will also be available 24 hours a day. This will be a great place not only to charge your car but also to have a fun and unique time.
