Tesla has partnered with Uber to offer a new discount program that launched on December 12. Now the company’s drivers can buy a Model 3 or Model Y with a discount of $1,000, $2,000, or $3,000.

When placing an order, Uber drivers should use the Tesla for Drivers on Uber link on the website to receive an offer on a new Tesla Model 3 or Model Y directly from the factory or store. Failure to use the link will disqualify customers from receiving the incentive discounts. Drivers must purchase and take delivery by December 31, 2023, and register the purchase by adding vehicle details to their Uber driver profile, including vehicle identification number.

According to Uber’s website (via The Street), Uber Blue and Gold drivers will receive a $1,000 discount after 100 rides in their new electric vehicle on the Uber platform through February 15, 2024. Platinum drivers receive a $2,000 rebate after completing 100 rides in their new electric vehicle on the Uber platform by the specified deadline. Diamond Drivers receive a $3,000 rebate after completing 100 trips in their new electric vehicle by the due date. Uber’s four driver levels are determined based on points earned on each ride and bonus points. The discount is provided to each driver only once.
