Tesla Giga Berlin continues to expand its operations in Germany and has a significant impact on the labor market there. It has reportedly hired 500 additional permanent employees at the factory.
These were previously temporary workers who have now officially become part of the workforce and have received permanent contracts to work at Tesla. “We have been asked to reduce the proportion of temporary workers by giving more colleagues a fixed contract, namely an indefinite fixed contract,” according to a statement from the works council of Giga Berlin.
In the future, the search for additional employees and the filling of positions will continue. While permanent employees are important, temporary workers are also an important part of the excellent operation of the factory.
