Vice President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng met with Tesla CEO Elon Musk in Washington, D.C., to discuss strengthening the development of U.S.-China relations.

According to Chinese media, Han Zheng invited Tesla and other American companies to share information on their development results in China in order to make an even greater positive contribution to the development of relations between the two countries. During the meeting, Musk expressed his readiness to continue investing in China and promote the development of ties between the two countries.

Han Zheng, in turn, said that China will consistently carry out reforms and increase the country’s transparency in relation to other countries.

“We hope that American companies will continue to invest in China, will take root in China and will act as a link, contribute to a stable, healthy and sustainable development of the Sino-American relations,” he added.
